10 BELmont street PROGRAMS CENTRE
We have all been busy at the cottage getting things organized for the recent restart of services, and hopefully again soon for our programs.
Pat and Petar have been working in the garden getting things cleaned up and spic and span for all our visitors.
The play equipment has been updated with some new timber as well as new wood chips underneath it. The sand pit has been cleaned up and new shade cloth installed for the upcoming summer.
We have some great new seats to enjoy the improving weather, and there is a lick of paint being added all around the place, to update the look and feel of the centre. I am sure those who recall the state of the place when we moved in at the beginning of 2020 will be amazed at the look of the building and gardens.
The vegie garden has had its first crop including, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, silver beet. Petar assures us that the next crop which has just gone in will be even better. We have beetroot, lettuce, more cauliflower and broccoli as well as some peas.
The front balcony is so nice now and is perfect for the afternoon sun as well as making the whole front of the building look fantastic
We have our new sign up and the new logo is fantastic while the front garden has been pruned and neatened up, ready for the spring blooms.
Inside we have seen new paint in most of the rooms as well as improved kitchen facilities (stay tuned for news here), new equipment has been installed, from fridges, to dishwashers, to freezers and new computers, TV’s, beds and sofas.
