With over 30 years’ experience as a youth worker, mental health practitioner and support worker Mario embraces the very core values of person-centred practice. Mario intuitively develops rapport with the clients he works with, enabling him to motivate and inspire positive experiences enriching people’s lives whether their needs are physical, psychosocial or spiritual, assisting them in achieving their personal best. His ability to work with individuals presenting with multiple and complex needs and high-risk behaviours makes him a much sought-after team member.
His three young children and wife keep him ‘real’ reminding him often that it’s the little things in life that make a difference. He is also known for being a storyteller and his signature black t-shirt and clinking of keys when he walks.
Mario has a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in painting from the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne University and in his down time indulges his lifelong passions of bushwalking, painting, drawing, reading and playing the classical guitar
